Dragon's Egg Testimonials

I've used a backpack for years to haul my stuff around, and it never really was the best. it was big and bulky, and I had to hide it behind the store counter. worst of all, since I couldn't keep it within my vision all the time, I had quite a number of cards stolen or just go disappearing. not fun, I assure you.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Dragon's Egg I recieved not only had enough room for decks, dice and extra sleeves, but room left over to stash yet more cards. it was well constructed and looks/feels like it can take a serious beating, but is light enough to where I won't get tired carrying at a full load.

and, I'm going to be frank: it was a very big deal that it wasn't massive and unwieldly, and didn't look like a pocket book. there are other bags that are small like this, but your bags unique design and construction assures that I won't be embarrassed carrying it around.

I love this thing...this thing is solid...I could stand on it.

I give the guys from Power 9 some props for that because Ultra Pro had something that was a very thin plastic and it broke within weeks. This thing is probably not going to break on you unless you're throwing it at some kids.

It feels solid, it’s got a nice weight to it. I opened up the bag to find out why it felt so nice and discovered that the actual deck holding piece inside the bag is made of solid plastic. Not foam, not cardboard and not hollow. That one piece is probably two thirds of the entire weight. Yet, the thing is not too heavy at all. I am totally sure that any cards placed in the deck slots will be protected from any normal and most abnormal situations it might get into.

Personally, I'm enjoying the Dragon's Egg quite a bit - I have a fairly large collection and 27 decks - I use a Rook metal carrying case (the 4 slotter that carries about 22 decks) but it's too heavy for anything other than casual nights. For Friday night magic or tournaments it's going to be the Egg. Carries dice, draft packs, tokens, the whole lot. And it fits my two unsleeved divine/demonic decks in one slot for the moment. Really digging it's portability - and unlike the fat pack boxes you're not worried about the top coming off and it spilling all over the place.

Online Workshops Testimonials

[Ben's] content is good, his advice good and covers a broad spectrum that paints a very full picture...All in all, a strong training session that looks to be the beginning of a nice program.

I absolutely LOVE the Q&A segments, because they allow for really personal answers. There are so many moments when I think "What would a pro do here?" and these workshops are a great outlet for those questions.

Going over the actual process of making the deck, hearing about how he skipped using it for a few weeks to keep it a secret... tips like that...[Ben Lundquist] really did a good job kind of illuminating the little tweaks that make the difference...Side boarding was probably the biggest thing here. I have to say that going into tournaments, that is my biggest weakness right now...I really need to learn how to work my own board...[Lundquist] showed specific examples and talked about specific matchups...he seemed to have a set list of points he wanted to make, which logically followed one from the other; it was very understandable, and very helpful.

I liked it quite a bit. I wasn't expecting the video which was a very nice thing to have in order to be able to watch the games...

Pedro, Boise

It was a good presentation and very informative (especially for me who has never built for extended season).

N-Dexers Testimonials

when I saw the N-Dexers it was almost as if you were reading my mind. I am currently engaged in the massive undertaking of reorganizing the entire collection, transitioning completely from the binders over to 800 ct card boxes (containing a number of as-yet-to-be-named categories for a whole bunch of N-Dexers); the card boxes are housed within 12-cubby "card box hotels" ... all of this takes up considerably less space than 10+ big three-ring binders!

You have a well-designed product that has several things going for it: it meets the demand for something that, to my knowledge, is not offered elsewhere; they're versatile (cards can go horizontally or vertically, the N-Dexers work either way); they're standardized (fit within the industry standard box) and yet do exactly what they’re supposed to do: segregate between groups of cards and, via file folder technique, make it easy to identify what is within each group. They’re customizable, and best of all they're not cost-prohibitive; you even have a couple of different options for buying.

Just got my N-dexers last night and honestly i had no clue they were going to be that high quality. Great job!

Both the egg and the dividers are great and I'm getting my share of use out of them, I'm even debating a 2nd egg for the wife
